App launched to help clinicians manage patients’ menopause symptoms 

Doctors at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) and University College London (UCL) have developed a digital decision-making aid, MENO.pause, to help clinicians manage menopause symptoms in the best way for individual patients’ health conditions. Funding for the app has been provided by an Innovation Fund award from the North Central London Cancer Alliance.

‘Sponge-on-a-string’ cancer test coming to North London high streets

A new ‘sponge-on-a-string’ test will be tried out in the North Central London area to help prevent oesophageal cancer. North Central London Cancer Alliance is working with Cyted Health, community pharmacies, community diagnostic centres, and health innovation specialists, UCLPartners, to pilot the test for people with persistent heartburn or acid reflux.      NHS England has announced
