Breast screening uptake support

The Cancer Alliance is working with the breast screening health promotion team to contact people who did not respond to their last invitation to encourage them to re-book the appointment.  

Language support project

Electronic tablets with a pre-installed translation app are being made available and North Central London breast screening clinics. The app can provide written and audio translation in over 100 languages.  

Improving breast screening for people with a disability

The screening services are working with primary care and learning disabilities teams to identify eligible patients on their registers that have a disability. They and their carers are being contacted  to talk about participation in screening, individual reasonable adjustments and specific support they may need.​
