Ahead of National Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Day on 16 March, join us to:
- Recognise and celebrate nursing achievements in North Central London to improve cancer patients’ experience and outcomes
- Learn about nursing innovations in clinical practice, education, leadership and research
- Meet, collaborate with, and learn from other cancer nursing colleagues
- Hear about national and local progress in implementing ACCEND (Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development framework) for the nursing workforce.
- Update and discuss the newly launched national Cancer Plan
The conference is open to cancer CNSs working across North Central London.

NCL Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Awards Nominations Open
We are now accepting nominations for cancer clinical nurse specialists across NCL to recognise their outstanding achievements and invaluable work for patients and services.
To nominate a Cancer CNS, please follow the link below and complete the short nomination form.
Nominations close Friday 20 February. Further guidance can be found here.
Posters
We would love to see posters from you and your teams showcasing the fantastic work you do!
Submissions can be based on any aspect of the cancer clinical nurse specialist role or service. Please note that at least one team member from each poster should be registered to attend for the conference on the day.
These will be put on display at the conference venue. Prizes will be presented to the three posters receiving the highest number of votes from attendees on the day.
